Things are heating up in Stellenbosch\u2019s culinary scene \u2013 and it\u2019s not just the blazing log fires at Spier Hotel<\/a>. The iconic getaway has developed a selection of delicious eating options for local diners, each made with top-notch ingredients and offering outstanding value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can\u2019t leave the little ones at home? The Spier Hotel Kids\u2019 Club has reopened and is able to safely take care of your children while you dine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Extensive measures have been put in place for the healthy, safety and peace of mind of diners. This includes regular cleaning and fewer tables spaced further apart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Harvest table Sunday lunch<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Banish those winter blues with a hearty Sunday lunch at the Spier Hotel Restaurant. Served family-style at the table, this feast commences with farm-baked breads and garden vegetable soup. For mains: platters featuring pasture-reared chicken, crispy roast potatoes, a venison and mushroom pie, parmesan cauliflower and broccoli bake \u2014 and more! Save room for the bread and butter pudding!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every Saturday evening from 17:00 you and your SO can enjoy a romantic \u2013 and delicious \u2013 date night at Spier Hotel. For the two of you, a 200 g beef steak with fire-blushed tomatoes, onion rings, parmesan fries and a delicious seasonal salad. You\u2019ll get a mocktail each and something sweet to share too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cost: R485 per couple (for an additional R150 per table, you can enjoy a platter featuring charcuterie, crudites, bread and dips). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Burger night at Spier Hotel<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every Friday evening from 16:00 you can tuck into one of the most delicious burgers in winelands. You\u2019re spoilt for choice: your meat options are the Farmer Angus Beef & Bacon burger or the Chicken Burger, both made with meat from animals raised on Spier\u2019s organic pastures. Keeping it meat-free? Then the tasty Coriander Falafel Burger is the one for you. Each comes with fries and a mocktail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Saturday spread<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lazy Saturday afternoons have never been this delicious! Available between 12:00 and 17:00, Spier Hotel is offering a delicious selection of gourmet snacks, including charcuterie, liver p\u00e2t\u00e9, beef kebabs and springbok samosas. These are served with farm-baked breads along with various spreads and dips. Cosy up by the roaring fire and dig in!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
