Antbear Eco Lodge

Antbear Lodge is situated in the Drakensberg region of KwaZulu-Natal near to Giants Castle. What makes this lodge particularly special is that they offer accommodation in a luxury cave. This is an accommodation unit built under a rock. Glass doors open onto a wooden deck with hammock
chairs and a spectacular view of the Drakensberg Mountains, providing for a
luxury eco experience. The cave is cozy and comfortable with features like a jacuzzi spa bath and a fireplace.
They also offer a private dining experience where they set up a table on the deck of your cave and you dine by candlelight under the stars.
Antbear Eco Lodge also offers horse trails ideally suited to beginners. Hot air balloon flights that launch from the lawn in front of the lodge. Their newest attraction is their star gazing hammock camp where they tell the Zulu stories of the stars.
Giants Castle slack-packing trail

The slack-packing trail package includes 3 nights’ accommodation, a professional & registered hiking guide, dinner each night provided by the lodge you stay in, a hearty breakfast, lunch packs, transfers of
your luggage to the next lodge, conservation fees.
The Giants Castle slack-packing trail is a luxury hike offering comfortable and varied accommodation for each night including luggage transfers, guide, conservation fees and delectable catering. Trails consist of small intimate groups of max 6 persons. This is a three-day hike through the Lowlands Conservancy and the Zulu Waters Private Game Reserve. The hike is gentle in distance making this hike perfect for
beginners and families. The lodges offer three course dinners from locally grown ingredients with hearty breakfasts and picnic lunches are supplied.
