RETREAT TO VERGENOEGD LÖW THIS WINTER

There’s nothing quite like a special getaway to Vergenoegd Löw in Stellenbosch. One of the country’s oldest working farms dating to 1696, it offers visitors a peaceful haven of rest and relaxation, infused with luxury, heritage and authenticity.

The estate’s winter warmth retreat is now open for booking. It includes two nights of bliss in the spacious Deluxe Lodge Rooms, situated in the beautifully restored farm manager’s house, each with serene garden views from a private patio with a jacuzzi; or the Vineyard Suites, with its floor-to-ceiling windows in the lounge and bedroom, and heated plunge pool, offering magnificent mountain and vineyard views.

Deluxe Lodge Room

Both options are within easy reach of the boutique spa and gym; indigenous gardens with striking Dylan Lewis sculptures; historic homestead where fine wine tastings are offered; two impressive Bertus Basson conceived heritage restaurants, Geuwels and Clara’s Barn; and the werf where you can view their famous Indian Runner ducks waddling past at 9:00 and 12:00 daily. The ducks play a vital role in Vergenoegd Löw’s regenerative, mixed farming enterprise. They’re a WWF Champion, recognised for eco-sustainable agriculture and conservation of indigenous habitat.
