Val du Charron wine and Leisure Estate’s main restaurant – The Grillroom, revamped and reimagined now includes an expansive buffet area for breakfast, conferencing and special occasions, as well as a sundeck with an Instagram-worthy look out point.

With its new, fresh look interior featuring sumptuous softs in rich browns and vibrant greens, cosy fireplaces, immense glass doors and an expansive cantilevered deck that appears to float over vineyards and mountains – this is a dining destination with a difference.

The Grillroom’s debut menu highlights many flavour-packed traditional South African dishes from A-grade beef to bobotie to game; also fresh seafood, succulent chicken and tasty vegetarian options.

Open seven days a week, it’s the perfect place for a celebration and is well known in particular, for its Christmas buffet lunch and rocking New Year’s Eve party. It’s also the ideal setting for pairing a meal with a glass of one of the Estate’s award-winning wines for the perfect dining experience.

Not to be outdone, Pizza Vista, the estate’s fabulous family-friendly Italian pizzeria has a fresh menu with options for lovers of Italian food to enjoy. The little ones have their own menu young  and will enjoy the splashpad, especially in summer, and the play centre, which has now been moved to the landscaped lawns. The perfect venue for a fun holiday outing for the family.  For the more energetic ones wishing to explore the surrounding farms and Limietberg Nature Reserve Pizza Vista is the point where the Wild Boar Trails start.
